Steve – Love the latest version. Nice work! Installation and setup was very easy. Is Audioscrobbler support included? If so how would I configure my last.fm id/pwd?

  2. Steve says:

Audioscrobbler support isn’t included in the current Windar release, but I’ve been thinking about providing this as a Windar plugin in the next release. There’s a playdar module available and I expect I just need to test and include some additional configuration. Not difficult. Could fast-track this early in the new year. Cheers!

  3. Steve says:

Windar does install the audioscrobbler support module. To enable it you could do the required manual edits to the %AppData%\Windar2\etc\playdar.conf file. This is untested, but this is what it says in the README file.

Adds scrobbling support as a playdar http api.
the erlscrobbler lib is still unfinished – it works provided the server
behaves. Anything unexpected and it will just crash.

    Add to your playdar.conf:

    {{as, username}, “your-username”}.
    {{as, password}, “your-password”}.

should “Just work” on playlick.com and anything using a reasonably recent
    playdar.js

In addition to adding the last.fm username and password to the playdar.conf file, you would also need to remove “audioscrobbler” from the modules_blacklist list.

It probably works, but I’ll test it later and also add a easy GUI configuration way to do this soon.

It “just works” on Playlick. I did see a couple failed to scrobble messages in the log, I’m sure b/c of the unfinished erlscrobbler lib, but all in all this is great. Looking forward to GUI in next release. Thank you ;-)
